ICT / Computing

The school is equipped with nine fully networked PC’s in classrooms with full, filtered Internet access. We also have 10 laptops with a storage unit so that we can take advantage of wireless technology in school. Computing is taught as a subject in its own right. However, children are encouraged to use their computer skills in all subject areas.

Control technology is taught throughout the school using a range of resources for younger children and Flowol with related hardware for older children. Each classroom has an interactive whiteboard that is used by teachers and children to support all areas of the curriculum. We regularly use scanners, i-pods, i-pads, digital cameras and a range of other devices to support teaching and learning.
